|ooc;| haha, I probably got the quote in the title wrong, but it was the first thing that came to mind.
link to the old thread is here, and I'll do a quick copypasta of the last two posts.
ALPHA: Ralts was hit hard by the Tackle. She went flying, and hit the ground with a dull thud that sent twinges down Khera's spine. He waited for her to get up, but there was no movement.
Khe... I can't move, papa. I can't move. Ow.
Ralts was a Pokémon with naturally high HP, but she'd been taking a beating, and the Paralysis had stopped her movement again. Khera watched as she twitched fitfully. Apparently he'd numbed the feeling of physical injury for her; she seemed in a worse state than she had let on.
Are you okay?
Um... I don't know. I can't move... and I feel hurty...
Can you do anything?
Nyeh... don't... don't think so...
Khera's eyes fixed onto the Electrike, and he gave a rumbling growl. He should be protecting the Ralts, and yet this Electrike was attempting to hurt her. This conflicted directly with his purpose. The Electrike needed to be removed from the equation.
No, dada... I can do this on... my own.
I will not stand by and watch you get hurt like this. Another growl ripped from his throat.
But that's what trainers do. Didn't you know that?
What, allow their partners to be beaten until they lose consciousness? Ridiculous.
Either way, Ralts seemed in no fit state to do anything right now. Hopefully the complete paralysis would wear off soon and she would regain movement; but until then, she was practically a sitting duck.
BIRDY: Electrike's face first bore a smile as Ralts was kicked into full paralysis. However, the smile soon faded and guilt wore into his mind. Oh... he could see what he'd done to poor Ralts. The poor girl was just paralysed, unable to do anything, clearly in pain. No one should be made to just sit and feel pain like that, not even if it was an annoying Ralts. Part of him was nagging himself to use a quick Tackle and end it, she was clearly a beginner and needed to learn. But it just didn't felt right.
He winced from his burn, feeling close to fainting himself now, but nothing like Ralts' condition. He promised himself that when Ralts regained enough movement to attack, he would fight again, but it just didn't seem like the morally correct thing to do. Attacking while the opponent could do nothing... well, that was just cowardly, wasn't it? Electrike did nothing, waiting for Ralts to do something. However long that took, he'd wait. Maybe Khera would use a human's magic anti-paralyse-majig.
and here we go.
|bic;| A thought occured to Khera. Digging into his bag, his fingers closed around a small, square spray canister, and he pulled it out. No, wrong colour... ah, here it was. Quickly checking the markings on the side, Khera nodded to himself. This was the one, wasn't it?
Hold on a second, little one. Crouching, Khera began to apply the yellow liquid to Ralts via the spray pump, and the static started to disippitate where he sprayed. Ralts shivered.
That feels funny... not bad, just odd. Hehee, it tickles a bit, too. As Khera replaced the now empty Paralyze Heal back into his back, Ralts did a little twirl, before stumbling dizzily. Haha, I can mooove... ooh... She shook her head to clear it, before giving a happy chirrup. Okay then, papa, I'll try my hardest~
Glad to see that you're feeling better. Confusion, if you would. I think we're almost there.
Alright.
Focussing, Ralts pushed outwards with the psychic ripples again. Khera hoped this one would hit; both Ralts and Electrike seemed to be at low health, but Ralts probably more so, so the sooner he could finish the better.
