Shira grinned as she set her feet upon the trail which lead down route one. The feel of the dirt trail beneath her toes produced a moment of nostalgia as she recalled the last time she'd done this, setting out on her adventure across Hoenn. Her ears flicked, taking in all the sounds of the route, familiar but at the same time new and exciting. Her tail slowly swayed from side to side, showing her happiness to all who knew how to ready that kind of body language. By Mew's name, she'd not realized how much she'd missed this. The Raichu morph laughed as she kicked herself into a handstand, walking on her palms for several steps before completing the flip and twisting herself into a series of cartwheels.
Rin eyed her human, a small smile curving the Luxray daemon's lips. Shira hadn't been this happy about something which didn't involve a punch-up since the day they'd won the championship. Navi had been right, they needed this. Both of them were at their best, at their happiest, when they were on the road. Rin suspected that this would forever be the way their life lead now. Even if they beat this league as well, they'd never really settle down. Perhaps they might spend a few days at home, relaxing, but then they'd be off again. The daemon took an extra step forward, bumping against Shira's side for a moment as the human twisted into her cartwheel, the physical contact a sign of affection.
Auva was still hiding behind the huge form of the Luxray Daemon. The shiny pylenti looked rather scared of the big open space where anyone or anything could come after them without warning. Of course without warning wasn't entirely true, with two cat like pokemon and a raichu morph, the whole party had exceptionally good hearing, so it was unlikely that something could sneak up on them. But unlikely was not the same thing as impossible and Auva wasn't the most secure of pokemon at the best of times and in her books, being out in the middle of a open plain with a trainer who, while seemingly more kind than she'd originally thought, was also clearly more than a bit of a loon, and a daemon who was just plain weird, was not the best of times.
