Haha, haven't been to this place in a while. I love the new layout though! Anyways, here's my old character whom I wish to start roleplaying with again~
Name: Lithalia Wolfe (aka Lith)
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Pokemorph: None
Appearance: Lithalia has a light, thin build with slender arms and legs. Weighing at 107 pounds, she’s a tad underweight for her age. Her height, however, is fairly average – five foot four inches. Her complexion is a clear and uniform light creamish color, and is naturally very smooth; she never uses any make ups or lotions. Her eyebrows are thin and slightly arched, and she usually wears a smile on her face. She has small cheekbones and a rounded chin, giving her a slightly childish look and helps to reveal her innocent nature. She normally walks with a little hop in her step, which gives a look into her cheerful personality.
One of her most striking features has to be her hair, for it is blue in color, sort of a mix between sky blue and cerulean. Its fine, silky strands reach down to the middle of her back. She has long bangs that are usually held back on the right side of her head by a silver, sapphire encrusted barrette in the shape of a paw print, given to her by her brother for her thirteenth birthday – it’s one of her most prized possessions. Her bright and round eyes are the deepest, purest sapphire you’ve ever seen. Many people have commented on them, exclaiming how pretty they are; this never fails to make Lithalia blush a light shade of pink. On her neck lies a golden heart shaped locket that has a rose with ruby petals and an emerald stem embedded on the front with her name inscribed in script, and is attached to a white gold chain. She’s had this locket ever since she was a baby and was brought to the orphanage; no matter how hard she tries, however, she can’t get it open, and is immensely curious as to what lies inside.
The clothes she wears are very worn and tattered, with various tears, patches and faded areas. Lith wears a simple tank top that fades from a deep blue at the top to a much lighter sky blue at the bottom. Over this tank top she wears a loose yellow hooded sweater – yellow being her favorite color - that’s a smidge too big for her; she usually has to roll the ends of the sleeves up so they don’t cover her hands. This sweater has been patched and sewn many times, much to the dismay of her older brother who’s had to sew it. Her dark blue jeans go all the way down to her ankles. They have faded spots of light blue where her knees and thighs are, due to them being worn so much. Her black and white sneakers are very dirty, and the shoelaces have been reduced to ribbons. Since she loves to play outside and is very clumsy, she tends to get scrapes and bruises one way or another. This makes her clothes all the more torn and dirty, as well as earns her the occasional band aid here and there. Right before she left to become a trainer, her older brother bought her a brand new pink furry backpack to keep all her supplies in; its cleanness contrasts greatly with her worn out clothes.
Personality: Lithalia is probably one of the most cheerful, friendly, and carefree girls you’ll ever meet. She’s very caring, and loves nothing more than to make others happy, which she’ll try her very best to do so for anyone she meets. She tends to see the good in people, and doesn’t believe anyone is truly bad. Strong willed with a desire to protect those around her, she’ll put the safety of others before her own if there’s danger. She’s also very innocent, trusting, gullible, and sometimes rash, however, which can make her easy to take advantage of; something both her daemon and her brother often warn her about. She can also be sometimes absent minded, and has a touch of a mischievous side. Her big brother and her daemon are the ones she cares for and loves over all things. She’s happy most of the time, and is hard to make angry or frustrated. Lith gets easily attached to the people and Pokemon she meets, which can also be another of her faults.
Ever since she was little, Pokemon of all sorts seem to be attracted to her, always coming up to her for attention. Lithalia usually responds to this by spending the rest of the day with those Pokemon, playing games like hide and seek or just sitting around and chatting with them, with her daemon doing the translating. This is how she spends most of her time, as she absolutely loves to be around Pokemon and grow closer to them; this is one reason why she’s always wanted to become a Pokemon trainer.
She loves to run through rolling, grassy meadows with her daemon and various other Pokemon by her side under an open blue sky, and to lie out in the grass at night and just watch the moon and stars. Another favorite place of hers would be the beach, even though she doesn’t know how to swim. She just loves to walk down the coast, sand squishing between her toes with cool ocean waves running over her feet. Other activities she enjoys doing include drawing - even though she’s not very good at it - playing hide and seek, and climbing trees, although she usually ends up falling down after the first few feet up. She loves heights and the feeling of the wind blowing through her hair. Her favorite season is autumn; she loves watching the leaves change color and the crisp, cool air. At the end of a long day filled with fresh air and sunshine, she finds it extremely relaxing to just lay back with her small family of her daemon, her big brother, and his daemon on the beach, watching the sun set slowly over the horizon and see the color of sky change from red orange to a dark shade of blue.
She pretty much loves all Pokemon and finds them cute; except for Magmortar, however, whom she’s terrified of thanks to an incident she had when she was younger. What she doesn’t like, however, is the cold. The one time you can see Lithalia not outside is during the winter months; she’s prone to get sick, and finds snow too cold and sticky to be any fun. So, for the most part, Lithalia doesn’t dislike too many things; except carrots. She hates carrots.
Lithalia is very loyal to those she loves; she can be very protective of them, and is quick to defend her friends and family. She tends to be more of a follower than a leader, however, and often turns to her daemon or big brother for advice on what to do next. She tries her very best to follow directions - especially ones from her brother – but her curiosity sometimes gets the best of her, which often lands her in trouble. When others around her feel sick or sad, she often picks up the same emotion, but still tries to console the person and cheer them up; she believes laughter is the number one best medicine for anything and everything.
History: Lithalia, along with her brother Zekerix, is an orphan. Lith was just a baby and Zek was just three years old when they were dropped off at the doorstep of an old orphanage one cold night. There were no clues saying where they came from or who they were, except a note Zekerix was holding that read simply Please take care of Zekerix and Lithalia Wolfe. Neither of the siblings remembered anything about their family or past before that night, and any attempts by the orphanage to find out who the identity of the parents ended in failure. All Lithalia had was her daemon, her brother, and the gold locket that hung around her neck.
This didn’t stop her from living a happy, carefree childhood, however. The orphanage that became her new home was in the middle of a small, somewhat poor city, and it wasn’t uncommon to see families – children and adults alike – living on the streets. Although the orphanage wasn’t exactly rich, it had nice caretakers, plenty of food, and a warm bed to sleep in. The two story building was old, and was held up by wooden walls that, in some areas, looked like they could collapse at any minute. Its backyard was fairly large, and covered in soft, green grass and patches of flowers. Various types of Pokemon such as Zigzagoon, Pachirisu, and Pidgey gathered here to play with the children.
Lith spent most of her time outdoors in the sunshine with these Pokemon. They’d always come up to her without the slightest ounce of shyness, and Lith, her daemon, and sometimes even Zekerix would spend the afternoon playing with them all. She cared for these Pokemon very much; many times, if one was ever injured, she’d try to bring it back to the orphanage to nurse back to health. When she was told to put them back outside, she’d sneak them into her room anyways; she was often caught, and this earned her many long time outs. She and the other kids would sometimes have mock battles using the local Pokemon and the knowledge they learned in the school at the orphanage about trainers. When Lith won, she would take a victorious stance and proclaim she would be one of the best trainers of them all one day. Zek teased that that would never happen; he had his own dreams of becoming a well known Pokemon breeder, though.
One sunny afternoon when Lith was eight years old, her and her brother’s life at the orphanage changed. While all the other kids and caretakers were outside, she wanted to sneak back inside and play hide and seek with Zek; she figured there were better places to hide in the building rather than out in the yard. Zekerix didn’t like this idea, as they weren’t allowed inside the orphanage alone, and searched for her all over so he could bring her back outside. Unfortunately for him, Lith was the queen of hide-and-go-seek.
While Lith sat cleverly hiding under the staircase, a local trainer’s Magmortar got out of control and started rampaging through town. It tore into the orphanage, setting fire to all in its path; the weak wooden walls were soon ablaze with flame. Lithalia, not aware what was going on, slowly crawled out from her hiding space when she smelled smoke and heard the crashes of the angry Magmortar as it trampled down her home. Smoke started to swirl around her, causing tears to stream down her cheeks and impairing her vision. Scared and confused, the young girl scrambled for a way out of the burning building. But before she could find an exit, the Magmortar found her first. Just before all seemed lost, her brother rushed in to rescue his little sister and her daemon, barely escaping from the massive Magmortar. The Magmortar’s trainer was able to come just in time to return it to its pokeball, right before the whole building finally collapsed. All the other orphanage inhabitants had been safe throughout the whole ordeal, as they had taken shelter in the PokeCenter.
This experience had left Lithalia surprisingly unafraid of fire, but with a newfound fear of Magmortar; it also left her and her brother without a home. The experience affected her brother as well, as it made him incredibly protective of her now, and he rarely chose to leave her out of his sight. Due to insufficient funds in the small city, the town couldn’t afford to rebuild the orphanage and the children were either taken in by sympathetic families and caretakers or ended up with those on the streets; the latter is what happened to Lith and her brother. It wasn’t too bad though. With the help of their daemons, they were able to move into a small, abandoned house on the edge of town. Getting electricity from the local electric Pokemon Lithalia and her daemon had befriended and getting water from an old well near the house, the two eight and eleven year old siblings easily settled in to their new home. They were able to receive free food from the PokeCenter until Zekerix was old enough to get a job to pay for their own food. They enjoyed their simple life together.
Still, Lithalia craved for something more – she craved to become a trainer. As the years went by, Lithalia started feeling guiltier and guiltier; she knew her brother dreamed of becoming a breeder, but was unable to do so because he had to take care of her. This was the second reason she wanted to become a trainer so badly, and begged Zekerix since she was ten to let her go off and start her journey. He was incredibly protective of her since the incident, however, and his response was the same every time: no. But, a bit after Lith turned 15 and when Zekerix was 18, he had a big surprise for her. One morning he’d presented her with a new, pink furry backpack to keep her future supplies in, and it was packed with plenty of snacks, bandages, and some starting money; he finally - if reluctantly - decided to let her go off on her own. Lith was both incredibly excited to start her journey at last and incredibly sad to leave her only known relative behind. She promised that she’d call him from a PokeCenter at every chance she could, gave him the biggest hug she’d ever given anyone, and set off with her daemon into the world with a huge grin on her face.
Career: Brand new Pokemon Trainer ;D
Name: Alexucard (ah-LEX-oo-card) aka Alex
Form (If settled): Growlithe
Favourite Form/s (If not settled): N/A
Appearance: Alexucard is pretty much like most other Growlithe in regards to size and shape, but is a tad bit larger than average. His fur is a slightly lighter orange than a normal Growlithe, and it has a tendency to become poofy and fluffed up when it gets wet; this is something that Lith often teases him about.
Personality: Ever since Lith was little, Alex has always wanted to protect her as best he could. When he could still change forms, his favorite form was an Arcanine because they were fast and strong Pokemon, and he’d be able to defend Lithalia from danger while in that form. A couple other forms he’d often be in were a Pidgeot and Dragonite; like Arcanine, they were large, majestic Pokemon. He’d let Lith ride on his back while he soared through the air in these forms, doing the one thing he loved best: making her happy.
When he first settled as a Growlithe, he was quite disappointed. Growlithe were small and not very powerful, only a shadow of the mighty Arcanine he’d wish he had become; at least in his opinion. But, to his surprise, Lith said that it didn’t matter what form he settled in, that she loved him no matter what, and that she even liked the cute puppy Pokemon form he’d settled into. Since then, he hasn’t complained at being a Growlithe at all.
Alex shares Lith’s overall cheerfulness, loyalty, and friendliness, but tends to be more watchful and wise than she is; however, he can become just as rash as she can in certain situations, and rushes head first into things without thinking properly just like she does sometimes. He doesn’t mind the fact that Lith can’t swim, since he hates getting wet. Secretly, he’s always been jealous of Lithalia’s big brother Zekerix, as he wishes he could act as an older brother figure to her like Zek is. He and Zekerix’s Aggron daemon, Marble, often used to tease each other back and forth - Marble would call Alex a puny pup and Alex would call Marble a fat ol’ hag - but they still loved each other like family all the same. Once Lithalia was starting off on her Pokemon journey, Alex was just as excited as she was to meet new Pokemon and create close bonds with them.
