(OOC: I hope I'm meant to write this like the lab threads ^.^;; )
A stray leaf drifted past Zac's face as he strolled along happily, the warm breeze stirring his wild and by now slightly tangled dark hair. His dæmon perched in the reddish-black hedge atop his head, her eyes flickering nervously from side to side.
"Zac, this doesn't look like the way to the lab..." she said uneasily.
The young man stopped short, Torax almost tumbling off his head and quickly grasping pawfuls of hair to stay on. Her tail dangled in front of Zac's face and he brushed to it one side. "Huh, you're right... well, no matter! Maybe someone up here will point us the right way." Pausing only briefly to let Torax readjust herself, he set off again, swinging his arms and basking in the scenery.
Torax's sense of unease grew with every step. Jumping down to his shoulder, she curled her long tail around his neck and tucked her face beneath the tip, falling into a light doze. Zac continued walking, the changing scenery not bothering him in the least.
Until suddenly he came to a halt. "Hey, wait a minute... I know this place! That Team Tsuasa works here!"
"Team Tsuasa?!" Torax squeaked in terror. "Don't you dare go in! I... I'll pull!"
She sprang from his shoulder before he could respond, bounding a few feet away before coming to a halt. Without a word Zac scooped her up and replaced her on his head. "We'll be okay. Team Tsuasa really can't be that bad. Hey, maybe it'll be fun!"
Torax's pointed ears swivelled, aiming ahead of them before returning to point at Zac. "You can't be serious!"
"Come on," Zac said cheerfully, setting off again, "think of all the things they can teach us! There's so much to learn. And we'll be able to learn with Pokemon!"
The Pachirisu dæmon twitched her nose and finally heaved a tiny sigh. "I'll be on guard. But I'm too small to protect you. Be careful, Zac."
"I'm always careful," Zac replied easily, almost walking headfirst into a tree as he spoke. He carefully rounded it and approached the building looming ahead of them. Unsure of what to do, he cleared his throat as he approached, and yelled out while still walking closer.
"Uh... hello! My name is Zac! Uh, I'd like to sign up for this, uh... Team Tsuasa!"
