Training Alone

So,couldn't find any friendsprefer to train with just you and your Pokémon? No problem! The Training Area has you covered. The extensive training ground includes targets, dummies, frisbees, anything you could want to practice a Pokémon's moves. To earn levels here, simply write a freeform post about your character training up their Pokémon. A mod will read it through and award levels! Roughly speaking, a Pokémon should gain one level for every two paragraphs you spend training it individually. You may get more if the writing is very high quality or if your paragraphs are each quite long. This is also done two paragraphs per Pokémon, so if you train more than one together we'll probably just divide the levels equally between the Pokémon involved.
You can't spawn wild Pokémon or NPCs, even though it is a freeform post. If you want to fight an NPC, you want the main Training Area board rather than this subboard, and wild Pokémon steer clear of the Training Area. Please remember as well that when we work out the levels you earn, we'll only look at the ones describing the actual training, so if you go rambling on about you character setting up equipment or whatever, it won't count towards the levels gained. In fact, don't ramble. That doesn't make for a very enjoyable read. You may find yourself earning fewer levels if your posts are obviously rambling for the sake of increasing the length, for example unnecessarily describing the movement of every muscle in a Pokémon's body when they use an attack.

These don't give you any bonuses, but they can be fun to try and may help you get the ball rolling since believe me, it can be very taxing to think of something decent to write about for a training post. These will be updated from time to time, and more than one person can take the same challenge.
- Train your Pokémon using equipment commonly found in children's parks or at elementary schools (swings, slide, monkey bars, etc) -Rin's idea
- The floor is lava. Use this as a method of training Pokémon in whatever skill/move you like.
- It's a cold, foggy day and... is that the targets? I can't quite see anything...
- (more of these will appear when I have ideas)
