|ooc|;; I sent Silk a PM about a joint rt. two thread. Feel free to pop in at any time, Silk. c:
|bic|;; Khera had decided he quite liked fishing, all things considered.
Waking sprawled in the bough of a tree, he found his surroundings lit with a bright light. He'd slept quite a while, an act unlike him; then again, a glance at the fast asleep Ralts on his lap gave a couple of clues as to the mystery sandman. Not wanting to purposely wake the small Pokémon, he'd debated what to do for a short while, before deciding on rummaging through his bag to see what goodies he could find. There was quite a lot in there, surprisingly; a necklace, a lump of burnt wood, a small pink scarf. The whole lot was simply delighting, but what caught his eye most was a fishing pole; old and slightly battered, but useable, with a Pokéball-shaped lure at the end. Gazing at it wide-eyed, much like a puppy would a scrap of christmas dinner, he had swung it about a bit, batting at the lure, before discovering the delightful sport of dangling it off the branch and trying to hook leaves. This amused him greatly, and he was swinging it back and forth as Ralts stretched widely in his lap, yawning.
Oh! Good morning, papa. Where are we now? She looked around, taking stock of her surroundings. It's nice here. Also your lap is comfy.
I'm glad the sleeping arrangements meet to your satisfaction.
Also also! I'm hungry. Ralts headbutted his chest, before gazing up at him. Do we have any food?
Ah, no, I don't think so. Khera looked around him, before reaching up into the tree and closing his fingers around a piece of fruit, tugging it down. There's fruit in the tree, though. Here. He handed it to Ralts, and she looked at it, before taking a small bite, giggling.
Yay, thankyou. You can have one, too. Moving her hands, she sent a wave of psychic energy upwards, and managed to knock another piece of fruit down. Khera snatched it out of the air, patting her head gratefully.
Thankyou. He folded the fishing pole down and placed it in his bag, before considering his breakfast carefully. Ralts tapped his thigh.
Come on, aren't you going to eat it?
I've only ever had pelleted food. Never fruit like this.
Hey, me neither. But it's really good! Go on, take a bite.
Cautiously, Khera licked the skin of the fruit, before placing the whole thing in his mouth and giving it a good chew. Ralts laughed. No, not like that, silly!
